Every wedding is different from the previous, some are themed, others are vintage, whilst others are whimsical. The setting is completely up to the couples imagination. This makes wedding photography especially challenging. Not only do we only have one chance to nail that perfect shot but we have constantly changing lighting conditions, we have to keep an eye on the weather and be prepared to change how and what we shoot depending. Then there’s the madness of trying to find Aunt Flo for the formals but she’s snuck off to the bar early. As well as this there’s timings to take into consideration as the wedding party may have booked specialist vehicles to whisk them off to the reception which will arrive at any given moment.
The life of a wedding photographer is a hectic one. but it’s all worth every moment just to see the brides face light up when you present them with the finished material.
